CORPO Swimwear 'Primitiva' Collection

Walking around at Fashion Pop-ups is one of my favorite things. Unexpectedly, I find sensational brands and that makes it so grateful about my job!

I am talking about CORPO Swimwear, based in Medellin, Colombia that has been around for 30 years. This is a very popular brand in Central and South America, and a rising star in the US.

I met Maria Adelaida, International Sales Manager of CORPO, while at the Swim Lounge PopUp at Riviera Hotel in South Beach. I was passing by and she just called me in and presented the brand! I was not even wearing any press or buyer badge, so I really admired her passion and positive energy.

DNA of the brand - Eco-friendly, Sustainable, Fair Trade and Women Empowerment.

Swimsuits are made with ECCO fabrics that come from recycled material and contribute to caring for the planet. They also employ women that are the head of the household, women whose families rely on them for financial stability.

The 2020 collection is called ‘Primitiva’ and it features beautiful tropical and sunset prints, ruffles, high waist bottoms, 70s style tunics and pants as cover ups.
