Celeste Johnny-Madhere, Creative Director of Olivia London, is no novice when it comes to the Art of Fashion. Growing up in New York, she got an early start in this competitive industry. From assisting her mother cutting McCall’s patterns, moving on to designing bespoke eveningwear, Celeste then settle her career in swimwear.
With her distinguished and exclusive swimwear and resort designs, Celeste would soon have a quick step to fame, once Rihanna was spotted in vacation wearing one of her bikinis. Celeste’s designs have also been featured in Elle UK, Access Hollywood, BET Rip the Runway, just to name a few!
With her first Olivia London collection – Shades of Brazil - Celeste takes us on a coastal journey showcasing the vibrant spirit and diverse culture of Brazil. This collection was presented at the prominent annual Houston Fashion For Good, showcasing the best fashion runways in Texas.
Shades of Brazil is inspired by the beauty, color and imagery of Brazilian Carnival. The fabulous fabrics in tropical color blends, animal prints, bright oranges and fluo greens. Black monikinis with details such as beads brought a touch of sophistication and avant-garde. Straw bags, pamela hats and flowy cover-ups complemented beautifully each look. But the highlight of the collection was truly the beaded and shells bikinis.
Olivia London Swim targets the modern and world travelling woman, that is not afraid to take risks and likes to feel beautiful and sexy, while keeping the class. The brand’s top priorities are exquisite looks and exclusivity.
