SHAKTI Swim by Elizaveta Mazhukina
A few weeks ago, during Miami Swim Show, I had the opportunity of seeing first hand the upcoming collections for the next Resort Season, Spring-Summer 2020. And the best part is that I get to meet designers and learn about new brands that I’ve never heard about, and whose I instantly become a fan.
I was walking by and stopped at Shakti Swim booth, a Miami based brand. The Owner and Designer Elizaveta Mazhukina showed me the new collection, explained all the details and what makes it so different from its competitors.
The color palette is simple, bold colors, no prints. However, the designs and attention to detail and remarkable. I take a lot of consideration in the quality of the fabrics and Shatki uses nothing but the best; it was the first thing I actually noticed. And also the exceptionally detailed finishings. Other important characteristic its that the collection is mostly seamless, which provides a lot of comfort and a perfect fit.
And look at Elizaveta! You don’t need to go to the beach to wear her swimsuits, just style it for everyday fashion.
The brand has only been around for two years, but already made its mark in Miami (Setai Hotel is one of her clients) and among celebrities, such as Britney Spears.
